Description

Worldstone’s Champagne quartzite, also known as Taj Mahal, is available in jumbo size slabs. The colour pallet is a soft neutral wheaty golden brown tone, with a consistent vein patterning. These warm hues work well with both light and dark kitchen schemes. This chameleon of a stone allows for pairings with both warm and cool colour pallets as the stone has an underlying grey tone amongst all the warm veining.

The density and chemical structure of quartzite ensures the excellent performance and low maintenance properties of this stone type. The fact that there is no calcium in quartzite is the reason that quartzite is not susceptible to acid etching. This factor is what drives the demand for this stone as a kitchen benchtop stone of choice.
