Porebski Architects have crafted this Castlecrag home to skillfully integrate the natural beauty of its setting. The consideration of the houses’ connection to the Walter Burley Griffin conservation area, have determined the pallet selection for this homes interior stone.
The choice of Alicante Marble in a honed finish, with its warm earthy tones, has provided a perfect solution to this connection. This warm brown stone offers a warmth of tone without being too dark. The thin spidery veins throughout provide both interest and depth. A perfect complement to this location and the architecture.
A simple colour pallet of grey, white and timber, provides a modern yet classic feel to the bathrooms of the house. The selection of Super White Quartzite for the vanity tops, ensures an elegant point of interest to this calm and classic space. The floor tile selection of Sivec marble in a honed finish, supports the understated elegance of the space.
